Prospective PhD and Master students

There are currently opportunites to develop PhD projects as part of a recently UKRI-funded conservation palaeoecology project, which aims to integrate local/Indigenous perspectives, past and present ecological methods to develop robust palaeoecological baseline specifically tailored to inform wetland conservation and management framework in different world regions. Please get in touch if you are keen to discuss project options in line with this. More information on application process for PhD and funding options can be found on the Department of Geography website. Funding for PhD is generally available through the Cambridge Trusts, GATES and the Cambridge NERC CREATES DLA programes. Funding deadlines are usually between September and December. There is also opportunity to develop a one-year masters project through the Department of Geography's MPhil in Geography programme. Please get in touch to discuss your project ideas.Â
